April 6, 2007 - The Best of VC and Ned album (UPC:859700156957) is scheduled to be ready for purchase on iTunes and Napster on or before June 27, 2007! This first album will have six archived tracks of some of the best of VC and Ned's broadcasts. They will be available to purchase and download online via the above sites directly to your computer. They broadcast on 1610AM in the Cotswold area of Charlotte and on Live365.com. May 20, 2006 - EveningStorm Radio is celebrating its third year on the air! We thank all the loyal listeners from our local area and on the Internet worldwide! DJ VC is still finishing up some education and will be graduating soon with his ND degree (doctor of naturopathy). He plans to maintain the radio station as a side gig and build an online naturopathic and homeopathic medicine consultation practice. VC has been studying alternative medicine since the early 90's after both he and his family experienced alot of health problems. Otherwise, EveningStorm Radio is wide open with hits from the 80s, 90s, and today 24 hours a day!

November 28, 2005 - VC and Ned Archived Morning Shows have been released to the public on mp3 format CD! There are two licensed versions: one is for personal usage and the other is for broadcast use. All CDs currently  being sold at our auctions on EBay®  are for personal usage only. CDs licensed for broadcast are available at the studio online store. November 19, 2005 - EveningStorm Radio is back on the air and stronger than ever! Thank you for being patient with us! The Internet stream is still need some work, but will announce when it is in full operation again!

November 8, 2005 - EveningStorm Radio will be back on the air by the end of this week! Equipment repairs have been made and the transmitter will be ready to fire up shortly! Thank you for your patience and your support!

July 7, 2005 - EveningStorm Radio Sustains Damage.... During a severe storm that just passed through our area, the station's transmitter and some studio gear was damaged. The damage was severe enough to take us off the air for the next two weeks minimum. The storm was actually the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy, as it passed over the Charlotte area. We are working to resolve the problems and make repairs in order to get back on the air for local listeners as soon as possible. The good point of this incident was that we were able to see our new EAS system broadcast several warnings and watches over the air, after which the damage occurred.

June 9, 2005 - New show on Alternative Medicine in the works at this time! As mentioned earlier, VC has been continuing his education in the field of Naturopathy and wanted to share a segment on the same. These pre-recorded shows will air locally on EveningStorm Radio in the near future. Archived versions will be made available on CD. Keep checking back for updates!

March 28, 2005 - New emergency alert system installed at EveningStorm Radio. Today, the emergency alert rebroadcast system was put on the air. This system will automatically interrupt the regular broadcast and retransmit emergency messages over the air via the NOAA  All Hazards alert system.

From NOAA, " NWR broadcasts warnings and post-event information for all types of hazards: weather (e.g., tornadoes, floods), natural (e.g., earthquakes, forest fires and volcanic activity), technological (e.g., chemical releases, oil spills, nuclear power plant emergencies, etc.), and national emergencies (e.g., terrorist attacks). Working with other Federal agencies and the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Emergency Alert System (EAS), NWR is an all-hazards radio network, making it the most comprehensive weather and emergency information available to the public."

This system also broadcasts AMBER alerts. You will also notice a new AMBER alert ticker on the main page of this site. Be sure to keep an eye on that ticker.....you may be able to save a child's life.

March 2005 - EveningStorm Radio officially licensed by BMI^® to play their repertoire of music over the air. Newly inacted music licensing laws now allow Part 15 radio stations to become licensed to air their artists music. What does this mean for our local listeners? It means that a great deal of new music will be on its way through the airwaves to you! Also, we welcome new affiliate stations to our list who will be broadcasting archived VC and Ned morning shows until we get our normal scheduled shows back up and running! We continue to spread the VC and Ned show from coast to coast!

January 2005 - EveningStorm did a special on-air dedication to some fine folks via voice conference on the Internet this month....As usual, we rocked the house from Coast to Coast. The VC and Ned show is still in the rerun phase, but will return in full swing shortly. Until then, 24 hour hits from the 80's with the Best of VC and Ned in the mornings at 6:00 AM. We thank you for your continued support and for being loyal listeners!!!
